Music has seen an evolution over a period of time. The rise in technology has paved the way for new instruments giving rise to different genres. The mid-twentieth century saw a very strange phenomenon happen to the music industry; a combination of different types of genres into a single playable music tone. This particular type of talent is known as jockeying and the persons who perform such art are called Jockeys.

There are different types of jockeys in the music industry, most commonly disc jockeys (DJs), video jockeys (VJs), and radio jockeys (RJs) amongst others.

Jockeying has revolutionized the music industry inexplicably. DJs are not only musicians, rather they are artists who have an uncanny skill of combining the right chords and amalgamating them with the songs’ beat to create a soothing blissful rhythm. DJs have altered the way music is played giving rise to many new genres like bass, hip hop, etc.

This sort of change is pure of North American origin and has spread quickly and with refinements all over the world. Almost everywhere whenever a party is hosted, local or famous DJs are invited to entertain the guests as well as boost their artistic qualities. DJs have gained stardom prominence and rightly so, because of the great fan club they have.

Commonly organized parties, that have DJs as the star of those events, can be categorized broadly into three types; traditional, commercial/corporate, and private. Although these events are otherwise commonly arranged however the inclusion of DJs, with their mastered talents, breathes a gush of freshness and liveliness into these events.

Types of DJ parties & tickets

A lot of people pay a hefty sum of money to enter such events and entertain themselves with this unique type of music. This gave rise to an entry system for such events. And what is better than tickets or some sort of passes to ensure that a fair system is in place for everyone to enjoy? The aforementioned subtypes along with their tickets’ details are described as under:

Traditional DJ Party Tickets: These are the most commonly DJ-played events like New Year’s Eve, Independence Day parties, or other cultural/religious events. The tickets to such DJ parties include the price to enjoy the complete event. It may also include the cost of any feast, if there is any, at the end of the party. Generally, these tickets come with a ‘drinks only’ offer. Such tickets are open for every age.

Commercial/Corporate DJ Party Tickets: Commercial DJ parties are like businesses. They can generate funds for the firm hosting such parties. They are fancier events as compared to the traditional ones and offer more services at their ticketing price. Tickets to such DJ parties include drinks, food, some souvenir or gift vouchers, a selfie session with the DJ artist, and/or their autographs. These tickets are not for public buying and it has a limited guest list mentioned on them. These tickets may also specify a seating plan with them.

Private DJ Party Tickets: These are private parties like birthdays, engagements, or wedding ceremonies that host a DJ as well. The tickets to these parties, like the corporate ones, are not for public entry. However, these are only for a limited social circle including close family and friends. Their tickets are not costly and offer the services of the entire event. If, however, such parties are arranged in some natural setting like a river, a park, or a circus; the tickets can include the price of any entertainment activity that the venue offers.

DJs have made the music industry more resonant with today’s ears. Everywhere many events are organized on a daily basis, and introducing DJs to these parties makes them livelier and more energetic. Because of the Dj’s eminence in society and with limited entry to the events hosting DJs; families, offices, businesses, and even societies have generated revenues using tickets to such parties.
